You can now link a GitHub issue or pull request to an incident without leaving GitHub. Paste the incident's AppSignal URL in the description of the issue or pull request on GitHub, and AppSignal adds the link to the incident. This works alongside linking GitHub issues and PRs from a note on the incident on AppSignal, which starts in AppSignal.
The word in front of the URL decides how AppSignal records it:
- Linked:
Fixes,Closes,Resolves, or no word. The issue or pull request is about the incident. - Referenced:
Refs,See,Related to, orcc. The issue or pull request only mentions the incident.

Linked and referenced issues both get a View #123 in GitHub button in the incident's Actions panel, with their status. The same words also work when you link an issue from a note, for example See acme/shop#123.
The logbook shows who added the link on GitHub. AppSignal only links the incident when the issue or pull request is in a repository of the same GitHub organization, or user account, as the repository connected to your app.
